At Karumah Inc., we provide personalised, client-centred case management services for people living with HIV in the Newcastle region, as well as those affected by HIV—including partners, family members, and carers. Our experienced case managers are dedicated to delivering respectful, compassionate, and confidential support that is tailored to your unique circumstances. We take the time to listen and understand you as an individual, and we advocate on your behalf when needed. Our collaborative approach ensures you are actively involved in every step of the process.​​ ​

 

Our case managers can assist in many ways including but not limited to - ​

• Referrals to health and community support services

• Navigating systems such as My Aged Care, NDIS, Centrelink

• Legal and housing advocacy

• Writing support letters for services and applications

• Providing accurate, up-to-date health and treatment information

• Supporting you to set and achieve personal goals through self-management strategies​

 

Outreach

We understand that reaching out can be difficult at times so our Outreach Program enables our case manager's to come to you. We can arrange a home-visit or a scheduled meeting somewhere you feel comfortable.
